Big Artwork

I just finished this larger watercolour & acrylic painting. It is for a friend, who lives in a beautiful typical Alsatian farm house. This is the background layer.
This is layer 1 & 2 together. Layer 1 was cut out to reveal parts of the background. It also is elevated, to give it some depth. The artwork is 70 x 50cm.
Here are some close ups.
She just got it today and loves it! Phew!

Museum d'Orsay 9th of November

Someone really liked the clock.
Sketch book ready, sorry it's a bit fuzzy.
It was really hard to see if you coud take photos inside, there were lots of signs saying you couldn't take photos, but there were many people taking pics with cameras and phones.

Hubby's Orchid

Hubby is very proud of his orchids, it was 7 euros at the supermarket. The flowers are beautiful.

Holiday activities

This holidays was spent at home or out for short day trips. Above here is the eldest picking up our pumpkin and other vegies at the "Ferme de Gally".

Yesterday, Hubby and the eldest went to Versailles, to visit a museum, but it was closed. So on the way to the fun area they went past the Equestrian Arts Academy.
At the fun area, the eldest had a great time on the dodgem cars, the roller cars, fishing for ducks and eating a waffle and fairy floss.
