We had a lovely visit to Hania, it use to be the capital of Crete, until they moved it to Heraklion. It had a fabulous atmosphere and the food was excellent. |
Good old see-saws. |
A Visit to the maritime museum, where they had a boat modelled on an ancient Cretan boat. |
The harbour |
Lunch under the trees, with locals and a few tourists. |
Many of the churches use to be mosques and visa versa. Showing the rich history of Crete, where it was taken by the Turks, and the Venetians. |
