Site Néanderthal du Régourdou 30th April.

Just up the road from Lascaux there is the "Site Néanderthal du Régourdou". A man called Roger Constant who had some land, just near Lascaux, thought there might be another entrance into the cave. He started digging... He found a Human and bear skeleton. Later they thought that the people, had been part of a bear cult. He worked on the site for 40 years... Later he bought some bears and so today you can see the holes in the ground, the real bears and in the museum remains of the human and bear, as well as tools etc.
