I was very lucky to spend a couple of days in Sydney. |
At the S.H Ervin Gallery on Observatory Hill in Sydney has an exhibition about Australian Women Artists who went to Paris, it's called 'Intrepid Women'. |
Ada May Plante, "Still Life", 1940s. |
Constance Stokes "Portrait of the artists mother" 1933 |
Hilda Rix Nicholas "Snow, Montmartre" 1912 |
Bessie Davidson "Guéthary Cote d'Espagne" 1930 |
Bessie Davidson "La Robe Jaune" 1931 |
Bessie Davidson "Portrait of Madamoiselle Le Roy" 1920. It's a good exhibition and is still on until the 25th of March, click HERE for the link to the gallery. |
Then at the AGNSW is the "Lady and the Unicorn". It's on until the 24th of June 2018. |
I'd already seen them a couple of times in Paris, and they are amazing...it's a collection of 6 Tapestries. |
