| I's far more impressive from the ground, inside it's very ordinary. It's a 'rip-off' to go in, 11 euros an adult (lucky the kids were free)... just like the petrol in Belgium... the other day we paid 1.68 euros a litre... compared to today in Luxembourg... 1.36 euros a litre... we filled our baby right up! |

| It was windy at the beach everyday, so we explored the towns near the beach for some variety. Oostende was about 10 minutes drive north. |

| great old buildings... | Brugge was good, there were lots of tourists, apparently over 50 chocolate shops... we saw about 20 and visited two. |

| Yves took the kids to the beach everyday in the morning & afternoon, depending on the wind. I visited a few times... |

| Maximum height is 9 floors(mini gold coast), we stayed right on the beach for a week, on the 9th floor. best thing: the atmosphere, cheap beer and chocolate, worst thing: the wind- it's right on the north sea, VERY BLOODY WINDY... and the lift broke for a couple of days... walking up & down 9 floors is not my idea of a holiday. Thursday I walked it 7 times... |
