Eiffel Tower, 15th of May

At the base of the tower, they are building new areas on level one, so there is lots of building going on.
The two boys had so much fun, playing, chasing pigeons while I was screaming out their names. Lucky they were wearing bright colours so I could at least see them running away from me.
Looking from Level 1.
Level 1, Champs de Mars, with Montparnasse tower in the background.
Level 1, looking towards Sacre Coeur, (on the hill in the background).
Level 2, still a bit to go, but you need to buy another ticket if you want to go right up the top. Yesterday there were so many people, so the ticket booth was closed. So if you want to walk up, remember there is a chance you might miss the top.
Looking towards Trocadero, and the modern buildings are La Defence.
The mechanics.
Back on the ground.
Almost picture perfect, except for the top!
Lunchtime, after having a few fights up the tower, the kids needed food.
Some of the delicate lace work on the tower.
Just next to the tower there is a interesting place, with ducks, big  carp and some other surprising animals.
This is like a giant water rat.
All of the boys got ice cream.

Pink Snow

It was snowing pink petals last week... our grass was covered in pink. The kids thought it was fabulous to play in.
