Someone was 5 today!

There was early morning pizza making....
Note to self: always try out new things before the day... I did use it, but the cake came out like a train wreck.
The birthday boy, doesn't like butter icing, which hides lots of mistakes.... so I had to use boiled icing, and as you can see it still looked like a train wreck. But both boys loved it, which made me smile.... :) There was orange, so there were big smiles for everyone. I was lucky to make some cupcakes with the left over batter...
Yes, we know there are more than 5 candles. Someone wanted all of those...
The cake was GOOD!
The loot, and big brother watching.
Star Wars, Angry Bird socks!
Working together...
A big thank you for our goodies A. Sam & U. Richard.

Combo Cake.

A yummy Birthday/Mother's Day cake... it was delicious! (No candles this year, it would have started a small forest fire).
With fruit it was a little bit healthy...
Cleo joined us for some cream.
Pressie from the youngest, which he made at school.

trains...

These first two are by me...
These ones are by the eldest, a photo essay on the train ride home.

Wedding at Meaux.

Yesterday we went to a Wedding at Meaux (Moe). In France the church is separate from the state, so when you get married you can either have one or two ceremonies. Everyone, must get married at their local town hall, by the mayor or someone representing the mayor. Then if you want to, you can go and get married in a church.
The bride and guys...
Here is the beautiful bride and handsome groom, before the ceremony.
The Ceremony.
Room decorations, each town hall has a room dedicated to weddings.
My date.
Us. After we left, as we had to get back home for birthday celebrations...

Birthday

Yesterday it was my birthday, it was a busy day, but an excellent one.... here are a few pics. Cake pics will have to wait, as the cake will be today. It's Mother's Day here in France, so it will be a double celebration.

I got new hair....well some blonde streaks...
I got some lovely flowers...
Some of the loot! I also had an excellent dinner in my favorite restaurant in Versailles...Indian.
Thought I would share a plate that I bought from Zara Home... that place is a bad shop!
