Today in Paris...Louis Vuitton Foundation & the Louvre.

Today, I tried to visit the exhibition at the Louis Vuitton Foundation building, that was designed by Frank Gehry.

But the lines to enter were so long, 2-3 hours... which I didn't have. This week they are opening at 7am, for the last few days of the exhibition of "Icons of Modern Art, The Shchukin Collection"... let's just says, it's a blockbuster.

I'll have to book ahead next time... click HERE for a link to the building.

So, I went to the Lourve... they had an exhibition called "The Body in Movement Dance and the Museum". Here are some of the works.

This is a partial copy of the Laocoon sculpture, that is in the Vatican Museum in Rome.

Then I revisited some of my favorite works from Mesopotamia.

This is a bronze copy of the statue, that is on top of the column at Bastille, it was by made by Auguste Dumont, "July Column". Click HERE to read more about the column.
