Almost french.... Clafoutis

Today, I made a Clafoutis. I'm very proud, as I don't cook much french food. Here is the recipe. It's easy... I used raspberries.
Ingredients
500g of fruit
3 eggs
1 tablespoon of caster sugar
1 & 1/2 tablespoons of plain flour
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
1 pinch of salt
200mls of fresh cream - liquid
200mls of milk

Method
Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and eggs. Then add the cream and milk, stir it well.

In a medium pie dish, line it with cooking paper, (as it's super sticky), put the fruit in the base of the dish, then add the cream/milk mixture...

Cook in a 180°c oven for about 30 minutes, (depending on your oven and size of the dish), Mine one took 45 - 50 minutes.

You can serve it with a sprinkle of icing sugar.
****************
I'm going to try a apple, sultana and cinnamon next!

Traditionally Cherries are used, but you can used any berries. If you use apples, you should cook them first.

Yesterday in Paris

Yesterday, the eldest and I went to Paris, for a quick spot of shopping. Here are a selection of photos, by me and the eldest.
Yep, we went past Opera.
We had a quick shop in 'Galeries Lafayette', for a toy, which is on the 5th floor. And yep, they have a great view of Sacre Coeur.
The eldest was amazed by the glass dome.
There was a Karl Lagerfeld promotion...

Kis pics...

The kids took the camera for a walk...

Last holiday pics...

A couple of weeks before school went back, Hubby and the eldest visited some friends in Morestel.
