Crete - Hania Archaeological Museum

This museum (housed in an ancient church) had a fabulous collection of pieces from ancient Minoan and Roman eras. When we first arrived, a little one decided that an open Minoan sarcophagi would be a great to climb in, talk about a heart attack! The guard almost had one too!
This was great.
I've never seen these type of pots before.
Phew a covered sarcophagi.
Roman mosaic
These cow statues were wonderful, I just wanted one.
Bird headed Goddesses.
This was absolutely beautiful, she is only 5cm tall, but the details were breathtaking.
