We visited the "La Grotte de Rouffignac", which has real cave engravings and drawings. You couldn't take photos, but I tried to draw in the dark, while holding a four year old.
Below is a link for a video, it's 38 minutes long, the first works start after 5 minutes, as they show you the whole train ride.
The Mammoth engravings are wonderful.
