Archeological museum of Catalunya

This is a fabulous museum, it starts with Pre-Historic.
A bull engraving...
A reproduction of the cave paintings in Spain.
Two cave paintings of deer.
The Greek Section.
Someone is fascinated by construction.
And being in the picture...
The Phoenician "Great Mother", in the region of modern day Lebanon.
A Roman copy of a Greek sculpture, Asclepuis, and modern friend.
Ancient Glass room.
Just amazing...
Roman mosaics.
Small Roman sculptures.
Iberian Sculptures.
Liturgical plates of Iberia, used in major ceremonies or religious rituals. One of them portrays a wolf, which for the Iberians was a symbol of death and the afterlife.
These two are Greek, Bird Headed Goddesses.
They had a few pieces from Peru, so the next three are from Peru.
They had lots of Roman artifacts. This is the start.
Love this lady!
This mosaic was wonderful, it was made with tiny pieces of tile.
This is hard to see, but they had green (noisy) parrots in all of the parks. The eldest demanded a photo.
